In 2019 is the 25th anniversary of International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD@25) and UNFPA turns 50 years (UNFPA@50). In preparation with Nairobi Summit on ICPD25, UNFPA country office prepares number of side events to align with and as well as annual key events highlighted the work for adolescent girls in Lao PDR. Therefore, it is required to produce related promotional/advocacy materials adequately and in timely manner.
UNFPA Office in Lao PDR is looking for a Graphic Designer to support design and layout of advocacy materials which contribute to UNFPA's mandate and ICPD, involving the three zeros and Noi. These materials will be used or/and distributed in advocacy events, etc.
 

Activities:

  • Work closely with UNFPA Communication team to design and develop the materials and product regarding to UNFPA standards, aligned with ICPD’s agenda and UNFPA’s mandate.

The products are:

  1. Backdrop designed with photos, key messages and logo
  2. 3 Roll up banners: UNFPA (3 Zeros, invest in adolescent girls
  3. Partition wall for Noi ecosystem, Noi framework
  4. Parasol tent UNFPA logo
  5. A4 size folder
  6. A6 size Notebook
  7. A7 size UNFPA stickers
  8. Noi stand with face-cut-out
  9. UNFPA tote bag

Duration and working schedule:

 

Starting from April to end of September 2019 with some deliverable dates:

  1. Backdrop designed with photos, key messages and logo
  2. 3 Roll up banners: UNFPA (3 Zeros, invest in adolescent girls)
  3. A4 size folder
  4. A6 size Notebook
  5. A7 size UNFPA stickers
  6. UNFPA tote bag

All items need to be delivered first draft by 17th May and all finals need to be done by 29th May 2019

  3. Noi stand with face-cut-out

All items need to be delivered first draft by 16th August and all finals need to be done by 30th August 2019

All final works will be UNFPA’s copyright and will  be submitted to UNFPA’s with original, working files via electronic, CD-ROM

Required expertise, qualifications and competencies, including language requirements: 

Education: 

 

Communication degree or relevant professional experience.

 

Advanced knowledge and skills in design and creativity seen as an advantage.

(Be able to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or other design-related programme)

 

Languages:

Fluency in English is required.
