UNFPA Office in Lao PDR is looking for a National Consultant to Produce Noi Story.
Duration of the work: From September to end of October 2017
Place of work: UNFPA CO in Vientiane, Lao PDR
Scope of work:
The consultant will produce 9-10 pages of Noi story by using one main character named “Noi”, who represents adolescent girls (10-15 years-old) in Lao PDR.
The contractor will work under supervision of UNFPA as below:
- Design a creative booklet with Noi picture based on the text provided by UNFPA, ensuring that cultural and ethnic diversity is considered and the illustrations are appropriate for the target group (8-12 years).
- Finalize draft booklet for testing among school children in Vientiane
- Finalize the creative booklet based on inputs from the field test
Qualifications and Experience:
· Demonstrated designing/drawing/illustration skills
· At least five years-experience in producing reading materials/ booklets/ IEC materials for development programmes
· Demonstrated experience in producing booklets/ similar IEC materials
· Excellent planning and organizational skills demonstrated through previous project management and IEC material development
· Have experience with working with UN agencies in Lao PDR is an asset
· English skills (speaking and writing) is an asset
